The immediate goal is simple: get into the EuroNASCAR environment, learn the car, work with the team and build real experience.
HARRY
“DA RAT”
TURUNEN
Building my way into EuroNASCAR — and showing what it actually takes to get there. 2026 is for testing, learning and development. The next major target is the EuroNASCAR Rookie Challenge in 2027.
The route changed.
The project didn’t.
Road to Zolder was the first concrete target. The project was already moving when it became clear that Zolder 2026 might not happen. We changed the route instead of rewriting the story.
Because the road is the story.
Racing is more than the moment behind the wheel. Preparation, people, mistakes, testing, uncertainty and problem-solving are part of getting there.
Document the journey. Don’t manufacture it.
It is still possible to go after something that matters to you.
Karting
The first foundation: competition, driving and the instinct to keep learning.
Sim & paddock
Sim racing and working around real race teams brought motorsport back into everyday life.
Back in a race car
A first race-car outing at Ahvenisto turned an old question into a real direction.
EuroNASCAR tests
Testing, development and learning in the environment the project is aiming toward.
Rookie Challenge
The next major competitive target. The route there is being built now.
The cameras come with us.
YouTube carries the longer story. Instagram catches the moments around it — progress, preparation, track days and whatever happens in between.
No guaranteed ending.
That’s the point.
The content follows what actually happens: the work before testing, learning the car, building the right people around the project and seeing how far the road can go.
Harry “Da Rat” Turunen
A Finnish driver with roots in karting, years around sim racing and race teams, and one question that became harder to ignore: how far can I still take this?
Still learning. Still pushing.
I’m not building this around pretending I’m a finished racing driver. The point is development: understand what I do well, expose what needs work and find out what happens when the attempt is taken seriously.
The objective is to become better every time the car, simulator or team gives me new information.
Not a character.
Just part of me.
Clever, observant, opportunistic, resilient and a little difficult to predict. Da Rat is a visual identity for the same person you see at the track.
Motorsport first. Punk when you look closer.
Be part of the road.
Not just the result.
This project is being built in public. That gives partners a place inside the work — not just a logo added after everything is finished.
Built around the partner.
No fixed sponsor packages. A collaboration can combine content, technical integration, track activity, events and brand visibility when there is a genuine fit.
Exact deliverables, rights and commercial terms are agreed separately for each partner.
Da Rat merch
is being built.
Core pieces first. Clean enough to wear away from the racetrack, recognisable enough to belong to the project.
Core is clean. Hellbilly goes deeper.
